This Privacy Policy explains how Torendo Labs Inc. ("Torendo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes personal data in connection with: our websites and applications that display or link to this Privacy Policy (the "Sites"); your registration for and use of our software-as-a-service platform and related products and services (collectively, the "Services"); our branded social media pages; our events, webinars, and promotions; and your communications with us by email, instant messaging, telephone, or other electronic means, or in person. Torendo is a data provider. We generate insights from external datasets and public or third-party sources, not from your internal systems. We do not ingest, access, or process your company's internal business data, such as your ERP, CRM, sales systems, marketing systems, data warehouse, or customer databases, and you should not rely on Torendo to store or process such internal company datasets. This Privacy Policy also describes your rights and choices with respect to your personal data and how you can contact us if you have questions or concerns. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, you should not use the Sites or Services or otherwise provide us with your personal data. By using or accessing the Sites or Services, or by otherwise providing us with personal data, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Sites and Services is also subject to our Terms & Conditions. This Privacy Policy is effective as of the "Last Updated" date above. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page (or on another page that links to this page) and revise the "Last Updated" date. Where required by applicable law, we will notify you of material changes that affect how we use or disclose your personal data before such changes become effective. Your continued use of the Sites or Services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
Key Definitions
For purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- "European Data Protection Law" means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), any applicable national legislation implementing the GDPR, and, where applicable, the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR.
- "Privacy Policy" means this Torendo Privacy Policy.
- "Torendo" means Torendo Labs Inc.
- "Services" means our software-as-a-service platform and related services made available via the Sites or pursuant to a separate agreement with you or your organization.
- "You" and "your" mean the individual to whom personal data covered by this Privacy Policy relates, including customers, users of the Services, and visitors to the Sites.
Information We Collect
Some functionality of the Sites and Services can be used without providing personal data. However, certain features require us to collect and process limited personal data (primarily business contact and account information). Importantly, Torendo does not collect or process your internal company data (for example, your internal sales records, ERP data, CRM data, proprietary customer lists, or internal analytics datasets). Our platform is designed to deliver insights as a data provider, based on external signals and datasets that we source independently of your internal systems. Broadly, we collect personal data in three ways: Information you provide directly to us; Information we receive from third parties (typically business contact / firmographic data); and Information collected automatically from your interaction with our Sites and Services.
Information You Provide Directly
When you register for or access the Services via the Sites or through a separate subscription agreement, we may ask you to provide personal data, including:
- name
- company name
- business email address
- password
- any other information you choose to provide in connection with creating or managing your account
We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide when you:
- contact us with inquiries (including through web forms on the Sites)
- interact with any chatbots or in-product messaging tools that we operate
- respond to surveys
- contact customer support about an issue you are experiencing with the Services
- otherwise communicate with us regarding the Sites or Services
We collect details of transactions you carry out via the Services, including information necessary to process your orders and payments. This may include:

- billing contact information
- transaction details (amount, date, currency)
- limited payment information (for example, the last four digits of a credit card)
If you sign up for a trial, purchase a paid subscription, or pay for other Torendo services, we or our third-party payment processor will collect billing and payment information, which may include:
- payment method details (e.g., credit card number, expiration date, and security code)
- billing address
- any tax-related information you provide (e.g., VAT number)
You may elect to provide additional information, such as:
- VAT or other tax identifiers
- additional billing contact information
- the legal name of the entity you represent
In some instances—such as when you request a refund, assert certain rights over your personal data, or in other circumstances where we must verify your identity—we may ask you to provide information such as:
- billing information (name, transaction ID, last four digits of card, billing date)
- account email address or login name
- other information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, in accordance with applicable law
With your consent, we may collect and display personal testimonials and endorsements from satisfied users or customers on the Sites or in other marketing materials. Information Received From Third Parties
We may combine personal data you provide to us with personal data obtained from other sources, such as:
If you purchase access to the Services through one of our authorized resellers or distributors, we may receive personal data from them, including:
- business contact information (name, job title, mailing address, email address, phone number)
- information about your organization's relationship with that reseller or distributor

Information Collected Automatically
Like many commercial websites and online services, we use various technologies—such as server logs, cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies—to automatically collect certain information about your use of the Sites and Services, subject to your consent where required by applicable law. This automatically collected information relates to how you interact with Torendo, not to your internal business systems or data.
When you access or use the Sites or Services, we may automatically collect information about your visit, including:
- pages viewed and the order in which they were viewed

- the URL that referred you to our Sites
- the IP address, operating system, and browser software used
- approximate geographic location derived from your IP address

How We Use Your Information

Torendo provides market and commercial intelligence as a data provider. The insights and analytics available through the Services are derived from: external data sources; public or third-party datasets; and Torendo's proprietary processing and modeling. We do not ingest, access, or process your internal company datasets (such as internal sales records, ERP/CRM data, customer databases, ad accounts, or proprietary transaction logs), and we do not connect to your internal systems for the purpose of building or training our models. You should not upload or share confidential internal company data with Torendo. If you inadvertently provide such information, we will treat it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our contractual obligations, and we will not use it to train or enrich our general models or datasets.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we also process personal data for our legitimate business interests, including to:
- operate, administer, and improve our Sites and Services
- provide content you request (e.g., downloads or demos) and respond to your requests regarding the Services, including by sharing your personal data with relevant resellers or partners to facilitate your request efficiently
- manage our relationship with you (for example, by sending service-related communications, notices about changes to terms or policies, and information about our own products and services that may be of interest to you)
- analyze preferences, usage patterns, and interactions with the Sites and Services to identify trends, improve user experience, and inform product development

How We Disclose Your Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data. We disclose personal data only as described in this Privacy Policy, with your consent, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
We engage third parties to perform services on our behalf, such as:
- payment processing and fraud prevention
- hosting and infrastructure
- email and communication services
- customer support
- analytics and business intelligence
- marketing and advertising

These platforms are not controlled by Torendo, and any questions about how they process your personal data should be directed to them.

Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to: provide the Services and fulfill the transactions you have requested; comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting obligations; and pursue our legitimate business interests, such as maintaining business and financial records, resolving disputes, maintaining security, detecting and preventing fraud or abuse, and enforcing our agreements. Once the applicable retention period has expired, we will either delete or anonymize your personal data, unless we are legally required or permitted to retain it longer.

International Transfers of Personal Data
Torendo Labs Inc. is based in Canada. If you access the Sites or Services from the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom ("UK"), or other regions with data-protection laws that differ from those of our country of establishment, your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries that may have data protection laws that are different from (and potentially less protective than) those in your jurisdiction. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or UK to countries that have not been deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection, we will implement appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data, such as: Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or UK authorities; or other lawful transfer mechanisms recognized under applicable European Data Protection Law. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
